Caves

Today we visited the caves at Can Marca.
These are very old, maybe 100,000 years with lots of stalagmites and stalactites.

The caves were used by smugglers 100 - 200 years ago and are now a tourist attraction.

The tour groups are divided by language, unfortunately we ended up in the German speaking group. But then on the other hand we did not have to put up with the moaning Brits complaining about the tea, the water, the price of everything etc.

This is the view from the entrance to the caves.

Inside the caves.

Some of the pools are lit to heighten the effect.

More soon from the Leopard Restaurant in San Antonio.
