Getting Ready

I looked at gas prices in Germany today, what a difference!
$8.09 per US gallon of unleaded.
We plan on driving more than 1,000 miles so I hope the car does good gas mileage. Well with lead foot Lenny driving it's not very likely.
Below is a link to the castle tour of Neuschwanstein, this is one of the first places we will visit.

Dog Day Afternoon

Today we had Brent and his boys Augie and Jake over for lunch.
Brent needed to see Bear following his surgery

Getting Ready

In preparation for our trip to Germany we are doing some backyard work.
We are adding an awning over one of the patio windows.
The hard part, putting up the support is done.
Thanks to the construction manager Leon.
Next weekend we should have the awning installed.

Travel season is just around the corner.
Four weeks from Thursday 5/5/11 we will depart on our summer vacation to Germany for two weeks. We will visit Munich, Dresden, Berlin, Siegen and Frankfurt.
Look out for pictures and updates as we go along.
Our Belgian friends Erik and Marianne will meet us in Munich for a few days.
We plan to visit the fairytale castle built by Prince Ludwig, Neuschwanstein.
