I first met Harold 32 years ago on the Queen Mary where we (Peter Nash and I ) were taken for dinner by Tony Vinter the GM of Shultz Steel Company.
Harold and I hit it off as kindred spirits right away and over the years as our work and personal lives changed; we always seemed to be able to adapt to the circumstances and remain friends.
I have made the analogy that this was an event as poignant as the first time one of your contemporaries dies.
