Berlin to Siegen

Yesterday we drove from Berlin to Siegen via Gladbeck.
We visited Glama works and were met with the flag flying to celebrate our visit. It's not everyday that you get the Presidential treatment.

We then drove on to Siegen, this was the longest day of driving of the whole trip. We left Berlin at about 6:15 AM and arrived in Siegen about 2:30 PM.
The GPS got lost on our way out of Berlin, the screen was just going round in circles, fortunately we had researched the route on the map ahead of time and were able to find our way on to the correct autobahn. Once on the autobahn, Ms GPS was able to get her head on straight and find the way.
At the end of the trip it calculated the average running speed to be 77 MPH with a top speed of 121 MPH.

We met up with the Dango family at the golf club for a barbecue and of course a couple of beers.

Today Anne has gone to visit a theater and I am going to a tractor museum.

More soon,

Norm
