We have had several trips near home, Long Beach, Newport Beach, San Juan Capistrano Seal Beach etc.
This was Seal Beach as they were piling up a sand berm to help stop flooding from some monster wave.
The wave were a remnant of tropical storm Norbert , which was about 800 miles south of us in Mexico.
However, not everyone was worried about the storm.
Later a visit to the Queen Mary was in order.

We had a night out with Girvan, Fiona, Tess and Ron, we all went to Harvey's for dancing and liquid refreshments.
Well not exactly ALL!
I went because I was told to go.
As if we did not have enough Brits on hand Fiona's sister and husband showed up for vacation.
We had a little get together at the house for them.
Brent and Paul were also in attendance.

Of course Missy would not be social and honor us with her presence.
Next thing on the agenda, a trip to Laughin.
