Finally

At long last we rode the Triumph.
After owning the bike for 29 years, we eventually got to ride it.
On Sunday we rode from home to Seal Beach to have lunch at the Grill with the usual suspects.

Anne rode with me and was not a happy camper. It is not like the sofa on the back of the Harley, this seat is more like a 2 x 4.

Still, we made it there and back safely despite the shifter being on the wrong side and it only having cable brakes.

Anne told me when we got home that this was the first and last time for riding this bike.

When we were ready to leave, the guys in the Grill came out to see how long it would take to get it started.

Fortunately, it cooperated and started before my knee gave out.

It is only a 650 cc bike, but back in the day that was about as big as they got.

The next challenge will be to ride it to work and put on a few miles before it goes back to the shop for a quick check and re-torque of the bolts.

Misty Morning

On Sunday morning we took the dogs for their early morning walk to Sunset Aquatic Park, we call it the boat yard.

Check the pictures, pretty ethereal.

Yes I know the last one looks like the first one, but I swear it is a different picture.
